Lamisil is an effective treatment for athlete’s foot. It provides healthy foot care with its fungus-fighting properties. Terbinafine hydrochloride treats fungal or yeast infections causing athlete’s foot. It kills the fungus, liketinea cruris(jock itch), ringwormandcandida albicans(athlete’s foot) to prevent it from reproducing and ultimately, stop infection. Terbinafine is available in cream, powder or tablet forms. If used as a cream, it may be applied topically to treat infections located on the superficial skin. Lamisil Once is a topical treatment for athlete's foot (tinea pedis). It works by killing the fungi which cause the skin to become dry and scaly. You can apply Lamisil Once to any part of your foot and the infection will disappear within a few days. If you have any questions about taking Lamisil Once, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The active ingredient in Lamisil Once is terbinafine hydrochloride, a white to off-white, powdery, odorless, curable, film-coated, D-Day Cream. It comes in a concentration of 1% (ointment).
Apply Lamisil Once to the affected area every 4 to 6 hours. You may use your finger or your lip to apply Lamisil Once to the skin. Wash your hands after application. The cream should be gently squeezed out of the box and then gently dabbed onto a finger or a lip. Wash your hands after use. Do not use the cream on more than 2 skin areas at a time.
